But what truly set things in motion was a difficult time in my life years later, when I felt guided to sit down and draw the face of my own Shadow Self. The moment I saw that hidden part of me on canvas, something just clicked. In a final act of release, I burned the drawing to shreds. That experience was so transformative that I immediately knew my true purpose.
